CSV Import ​

The CSV import allows importing objects for all subtypes. Navigate to the object overview of the desired subtype via the dashboard or the menu:

Select the CSV file to be imported either by drag-and-drop or by clicking the Select files button. In the Import Objects dialog that opens, all entries from the CSV file with their columns will be displayed:

Check whether the suggested Object Type and Subtype are correctly selected.

Specify which columns should be mapped to the Abbreviation, Name, and Description fields:

The Abbreviation and Name fields are required for import and must be assigned.

You can edit the displayed data before importing to make final corrections:

Start the import using the Import button. A message will then inform you whether the import was successful or if any errors occurred.

The imported objects can now be used in verinice:

The CSV import will be gradually expanded in upcoming versions, particularly to allow importing data into additional fields.
